Press On Until the End

Nineteenth Sunday after Pentecost

When on a major journey, it may be tempting to give up. This temptation increases as the obstacles build up. However, when the end destination is certain and beautiful, you are moved to press forward until you reach the goal.

As Christians, we know God’s promises of eternal life through Jesus. We know that when we die, our souls will be with the Lord. We know that when the Last Day comes, our bodies and souls will be united and glorified. We have confidence in what the end will look like. This truth moves us to press forward in the face of the obstacles of life.
