A HARVEST OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

Produces Freedom!

Reformation Sunday

The Lutheran Church sets aside this Sunday to observe the Reformation of the Church which began in the year 1517. On October 31st of that year, Martin Luther posted 95 theses or statements that began a journey that led Christians back into God’s Word and connected them to the pure Gospel of Christ.

In that Reformation of the Church, that Gospel set Martin Luther and God’s people free – free from guilt, free from having to earn salvation, free from God’s judgement; and free to live with hope and joy, and free to serve and love.
