Jesus Appears: As The Light In The Darkness

Third Sunday after Epiphany

The season of Epiphany in the church is the time Jesus “appears” on the scene and “reveals” who he is and why he came. He came to be so much more than a random carpenter’s son. God’s Word makes it clear: this is God’s Son, our Savior.

Our worship for three weeks will follow this pattern:
1. Jesus Appears as the Anointed One
2. Jesus Appears as the Lamb of God
3. Jesus Appears as the Light in the Darkness
